This Privacy Policy explains how EasyFix (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the EasyFix website and mobile app (the “Service”).
1) Information we collect
- Business registration data: company name, address, category, email, phone number.
- Media uploads (optional): company logo and service photos (free and premium accounts).
- Payment-related metadata: plan type, payment status, timestamps (paid_at, expires_at). Payments are processed by LemonSqueezy.
- Basic technical data: IP-based country detection (used for country filtering and defaults). This may be provided by third-party IP geolocation services.
2) How we use information
- To display registered businesses to users (filtered by country and category).
- To process registrations, account activity, credit usage, and premium subscription status.
- To provide customer support and handle requests (including data deletion requests).
- To prevent abuse and maintain the security and integrity of the Service.
3) Where data is stored
- Database: Business records are stored in a MongoDB database.
- Images: Logos and photos are stored with Cloudinary (a media storage provider).
4) Payments
Payments are handled by LemonSqueezy. We do not store full payment card details on our servers. LemonSqueezy may collect and process payment information according to their policies.
5) Sharing of information
We share information only as needed to operate the Service:
- With service providers that host data and media (MongoDB hosting, Cloudinary).
- With payment processors/platforms (LemonSqueezy) to complete transactions and verify payment status.
- If required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
6) Data retention
We keep business records as long as needed to provide the Service. Expired subscriptions may be removed after a retention period. You can request deletion at any time (see “Data deletion” below).
7) Your choices & rights
- Pro users can request deletion of their account and listing from dashboard Settings.
- You can request correction of inaccurate information.
8) Data deletion requests
Current pro accounts should request deletion from Pro Dashboard Settings. This sends an email confirmation before the account and listing are removed from EasyFix.
